Carlos Avila of Ventura PhotoGraphix in partnership with Brenda McDaniel (formerly of Jalopy Joe's) are happy to be the Official Sponsors of this year's Gorgeous and Classy Pin-up Pageant at the Tribute to the music of Johnny Cash festival. This year's pageant is open to the first 50 registered ladies (18 and over) and will be judged

 

based on the people's choice! Entries will be accepted starting on May 5th 2012 by downloading the entry form with Model Release and registering in person at Ventura Photo-Graphix 2361 E. Thompson Blvd. Ventura CA 93003 (805) 652.1336. No online registrations will be accepted. Registration fee is $35 and includes entry into the fairgrounds. Entries will be accepted until all slots are filled. Stand by slots available only if a registered contestant cancels or fails to show up.

Rules & Regulations:

We are encouraging a return of the Gorgeous & Classy Pin-up pageant by establishing certain rules with all outfits being tasteful and respectful to the Pin-up theme of the 40's and 50's lifestyle.

• Must be 18 years of age on or before Jun 16th 2012.
• Vintage related one and two-piece outfits allowed.
• No Lingerie, bathing suits, ruffled panty booties nor corsets.
• Dresses and skirts and shorts must not be higher than the tips of the lady's fingers when fully extended at her sides.
• No midriffs exposing belly buttons.
• Contestants will be screened by Brenda McDaniel upon arrival at the fairgrounds.
• Contestants not appropriately dressed will be asked to change or face disqualification.
• A lstk of the Do's and Do not's will be provided to each contestant at the time of registration.

All results are final. No Refunds.

1st Award: $500 cash, flowers and goodies. Winner will also be eligible to receive an On-location photoshoot by Carlos Avila Photography of Ventura PhotoGraphix.

2nd Award: $250 cash flowers and goodies. Winner will also be eligible to receive an In-Studio photoshoot by Carlos Avila Photography of Ventura PhotoGraphix.

3rd Award: $100 cash flowers and goodies. Winner will also be eligible to receive an In-Studio photoshoot by Carlos Avila Photography of Ventura PhotoGraphix.

Honorable Mention: $50 Cash and goodies. Winner will also be eligible to receive an In-Studio photoshoot by Carlos Avila Photography of Ventura PhotoGraphix.
